Our Educational Philosophy

We are dedicated to ensuring that all children are provided the best head start to their early years of learning and education, all in an interactive environment that is safe, exciting and full of opportunities to learn and discover. Our six spacious interactive rooms provide all children with an abundance of learning resources and equipment that will actively engage them in hours of learning and fun.

Outdoor play areas are an extension of our indoor rooms and provide children with lots of space for discovery in a natural environment. Both rooms and outdoor areas have been designed to cater for all ages with an emphasis on providing a warm sense of security, home and belonging.

Child learning

For our Preschool Room and children that will be attending formal schooling in coming years we recognise the importance of providing children with a smooth transition to school. This is why at Naremburn Early Learning Centre we also offer a one of a kind “Transition to School Program” that is based on the K-6 NSW Government School Syllabus documents. This program has also been written by a qualified Early Childhood and Kindergarten Teacher. The program is designed and implemented to provide children with both the confidence and skills in preparing them for their schooling years.

Our Educational Program

Naremburn ELC’s educational vision is to use our children’s interests, to achieve specific goals both as a group, and individually.

Goals and interests are determined with input from our educator’s observations, family input and the children’s voices.

You can see the group’s program on your rooms program wall, and every day in an app called story park! You can help add to it whenever you like!

Child Learning

You’ll see your child’s individual goal, program and evaluation once a month in story park (but you can ask your room leader to see your child’s progress at any time!)

Our pre-schoolers’ individual goals will often focus on getting them ready for school (where appropriate). School readiness is something which happens all day, but between 12:30 and 2:00 we have specific “school ready” time. If you want to know more about our school readiness program, head over to our preschool page.

Have a look at "Our Rooms" at the top of the page for a little more info on what our program looks like for each age group, or better yet get in touch with us
